Transfer News: updates, signing, facts, rumors, and gossip.
Today’s focus is Mario Gotze.
Arsenal has been linked to the world cup hero Gotze, following the Gunner’s trend of enforcing the team to a world rank standard. The sum of £18 million as been enlisted for the Borussia Dortmund player who is set to leave Dortmund this summer, Mirror.
Gotze started up with the youth team of Borussia Dortmund growing through the ranks and making productive results. Gotze became a key component of the team that won the Bundesliga title twice; 2011 & 2012 before making a move to Bayern in 2013 and lifting the title a 3rd time. Over at Bayern Munich Gotze lost his juice and ran into a sour spot and returned to Dortmund two years ago.
On his return to Dortmund he hasn’t gotten soo lucky has was before now, following he has struggled to replicate the magnificence of his previous produce at his early years in the club. Tragically Gotze suffers from a metabolic disease which leads to fatigue and weight gain and this has ended up affecting his performance as a player.
Gotzes had gone from ruling the pitch to begging for it. The 26year old in the 2014 world cup scored Germany’s winner with is fly nodding in the final, giving Germany the world cup. He became considered one of the best young attacking midfielders on the planet but different is the case right now just as Gotze struggles to be a regular last season in Dortmund giving Joachim Low no choice but to leave him out of the world cup squad.
Mirror claims the German international is ready for a move has he believes it’s what he most needs to kick start his career again and his move to the premier league is good enough.
Arsenal along side Everton, Newcastle and West Ham had made enquires on the attacking midfielder and are in talks with Dortmund as they prepare to let go for the of £18 million.
Once at his Golden State again Gotze will definitely be a great fit to any club but following Arsenals present needs I doubt an additional attacker I concrete need to the team.
