Today’s focus: Jean-Micheal Seri.
Apparently Arsenal begins to take the lead over Chelsea to sign Nice’s midfielder Jean-Micheal Seri, as the Gunner’s gets in talk with Seri’s agent. TeamTalk.
The Ivory coast midfielder joined who Nice from Pacos de Ferreira in 2015 and has since then been noticed as one of the best all-round midfielder in the French league. Seri has also functioned promptly on his national side being one of the regular on the Ivorian national team, with a record of 16 caps to his name. He’s means of play had loud him over at England and both Chelsea and Arsenal are after his signature. The league 1 table has Nice on the 8th position as Seri finished with 2 goals and 10 assists to his name.
Seri was previously linked to Napoli and with media suggesting the Italians had greater chances with closing the deal with Seri but the midfielders agent cleared the air stating it’s just rumors and the italians have not been heard from. This gaven both Arsenal and Chelsea a major boost to landing the midfielder.
Seris agent Mala says if the Italian were to show interest, his client would be willing but explains that the Italian are more interested in getting the real Betis player Fabian Ruiz.
Seri’s agent is quoted as saying by TeamTalk:
“Seri to Napoli? It doesn’t depend on us but on Napoli. I read that Napoli are signing Fabian Ruiz, so if they sign the Spaniard, it’ll be difficult to sign Seri too,”
“We’re open to talks with Napoli, but there’s been nothing so far. Seri’s clause is €40m and it’s valid until July 15. After that, Nice can ask for the amount they want.”
Both Chelsea and Arsenal will be happy to battle it out between themselves to get Seris signature.
